ABOUT SALOU

Salou is a beautiful family holiday resort situated on Spain’s Costa Duarada (Golden Coast). For those of you that have never been to Salou then you truly don’t know what you are missing. Salou is in the province of Tarragona roughly 90 kilometres south of Barcelona, the main airport that serves Salou is located a short bus or taxi ride away in Reus, you have another two airport choices if you fancy a sightseeing journey and they are situated in Barcelona and Girona, you will either need airport transfer to Salou from these airports or you can take a ride on the very efficient Spanish bus or rail services. Once you arrive in Salou you will be spoilt for choice on how to spend your holiday time there because Salou has everything, from Spain’s largest theme park PortAventura, water parks such as Costa Caribe, Aquopolis and Aqualeon, Go-Karts and Bungee Trampolines, Bungee Rockets and more at Adrenaline Park, Downhill Bike Rides for all the family offering you a fantastic day out and the opportunity to see some breathtaking scenery, numerous blue flag beaches with friendly Chiringuitos (beach bars), Golf courses, restaurants to suit every culinary desire and a wide variety of family bars and nightclubs. If you are more inclined to relax and take in some history then Tarragona is only 10 minutes away from Salou, steeped in historic Roman buildings and artefacts Tarragona is classed as the most important historic Roman location outside of Rome itself.
